| the
oldest area in the heart of Rome, with little picturesque streets and
no traffic. As is common in the Roman historical center, there is a blend of local inhabitants and artisans that live here and a community of foreigners who make Trastevere their home, creating a unique experience for tourists. A ten minute walk from Trastevere will lead you to: Campo de’ Fiori, Piazza Farnese, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Piazza Venezia, Via del Corso, Imperial Forum, the Bocca della Verità, Circo Massimo and Porta Portese. In 15-20 minutes you will get to Vaticano, Castel Sant’Angelo, Quirinale, Fontana di Trevi, Colosseo, Aventino and Piramide Cestia. Just a bit longer walk to get to Piazza del Popolo and Piazza di Spagna. Many buses serve this area (8-23-44-280-630) helping you to save energy (especially on your way back home!)
